At Montessori Academy Training Institute, we pride ourselves for being actively focused in providing cut-edge Montessori training since 2004. At MATI we conduct our training programs at Montessori Academy, a state-of-the-art facility which affords hands-on access and experience with the entire Montessori curriculum and materials. Located in the City of Pembroke Pines, Broward County, Florida; Montessori Academy is twenty miles from Miami International Airport, twenty two miles from Ft. Lauderdale Airport, and one hundred miles from Florida’s west coast city of Naples.
Our Director, Ms. Monica Gargiulo-Benitez, is a seasoned teacher, instructor, and presenter, holding degrees in Education and certifications in Montessori Early Childhood and Infants & Toddlers from the American Montessori Society. Ms. Monica is also a founding member of the Montessori Florida Coalition, and was instrumental in the development of the Early Childhood standards for the Association of Independent Schools of Florida accreditation process. Ms. Monica has been a presenter, in both English and Spanish, at the AMS conferences for the last six years.
